Summer is quickly coming to an end and I never wrote about it!

meandpat

Recap of my lively SUNNY summer. June delivered my dear Beverly to our small village in Val d’Oise. This time the weather was with us, and you better believe we were either out and about or sitting on my terrace crocheting this. July I started giving Conversational English courses at the same time my creative dash produced many new Et Voilà pieces. End of July I also celebrated my three year anniversary in France. Can you believe it?

After a whole week of rain, August transported Debb, Sonia and Esther! It was a houseful of ladies and we shopped, did a photo shoot, took many muddy walks on the Oise and engaged in typical things novices of Paris do (such as queue at Eiffel Tower for 3 hours, shop the flea markets, eat croissants). September suddenly appeared and guess whom it dropped off? My Mom and Dad! This is their first trip to France since I moved here. They have been here less than a week and so far we have celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on a dinner cruise on the Seine and helped my dad cross off a very important item from his bucket list: A trip to Normandy beaches and visit of the American Cemetery.  Next week we leave for a week in Firenze and then it will be time for me to head back to the States for a bit.  Each one of these occasions deserves a separate post! It’s a promise.

Et Voilà! Just like that, that was my summer.  How did you spend your summer?

~side note, this picture is a bonus! Me and my other half
